6X37 class wire rope contains 6 strands with 37 wires per strand. It is a general purpose wire rope with excellent flexibility for spooling. With the smaller wires per strand, the trade off for excellent flexibility is reduced abrasion resistance. Applications:

#ELZEKKIWIRE 6x37 Standard Fiber Core Wire Rope
Drawn galvanized standard wire rope (non rotation resistant with round wires), used in many applications eg, as cargo runner, hoisting, luffing, mooring, towing, anchoring etc. Also suitable for fabrication of steel wire rope slings for lifting operations, And Very flexible,
Construction according to DIN 3066 standard.
Very flexible wire rope with good fatigue resistance, but not as crush resistant as 6x19. In relationship to strand diameter this rope has relatively large outer wires to enhance abrasion resistance.
Fiber Core (F.C.) construction is much more elastic under load (stretch); as such it has a greater energy absorption capability but is even less crush resistant than its cousin with Steel Core (IWRC).
IWRC (Independent Wire Rope Core) wire ropes offer more crush resistance when spooling while FC (Fiber Core) wire ropes offer more flexibility. FC wire ropes are not as crush resistant when spooling compared to an IWRC wire rope.
